The event, “Reimagining the Marketplace: Embracing Change and Transformation,” will be held at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with their session scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on March 23rd.

“As leaders and colleagues gather this year to address ongoing labor challenges facing the food industry, we’re thrilled to have Meijer and G&J Pepsi take the stage and share how they are successfully matching supply and demand in real-time by leveraging our pool of on-demand, independent workers,” said Dave Dempsey, CEO & Co-Founder of Hyer.

During their panel, “Reinventing How Work Gets Done: The Road to a Resilient Workforce,” Dempsey will provide insight into the growing gig economy as Meijer and G&J Pepsi discuss labor strategies that have enabled them to build a flexible, resilient workforce.

Dempsey added, “As we discuss the current labor climate along with what’s ahead—session attendees will learn how leveraging the gig economy can lead to greater cost savings, a stronger competitive advantage, better access to skills, and the ability to meet current and future workforce demands faster than ever before.”
